Fast-Acting Sugarbush Gummies Arriving Soon!
Michigan-based manufacturer, TreeTown Cannabis is releasing a new brand of gummies, Sugarbush. The brand has been in the works for quite some time and aims to fill a gap in the market.
The gummies are sour, vegan, and fast-acting. A first from the local cannabis manufacturer.
Ella Carvalho, head chef and creator at TreeTown Cannabis, and her team have been hard at work developing and producing the new brand.
“Sugarbush is a direct response to what our customers have been requesting. They were clear about what they wanted to see next. No one else is making a vegan, nanotech, sour gummy with the nostalgic flavors that we all love. We’re excited to be able to provide them with this option” says Carvalho.
Created with nanotechnology, consumers can expect to feel the effects within 10-15 minutes. The effects also differ slightly from that of a traditionally made gummy. Consumers often report a high that is similar to what they experience when smoking cannabis.
They come in 100-milligrams packages of 10 or 10 milligrams per gummy. As with any edible, it’s best to start off slow and gradually increase your dose.
The gummies come in a variety pack and feature iconic, and popular flavors like blue raspberry, orange, pineapple, cherry, and green apple.
Carvalho says, “Like all of our other products, Sugarbush gummies are made from scratch here in our kitchen. Working with pectin instead of gelatin, was a bit of a learning curve. But the results were absolutely worth it! The texture is amazing and we’re proud to have created a gummy that can be loved by both vegans and non-vegans”.
The Sugarbush brand is focused on spreading love. As a part of that mission, TreeTown Cannabis is committed to helping people charged with marijuana offenses expunge those arrests from their records.
$1 of each unit sold will be donated to Great Lakes Expungement Network, a non-profit 501(c), dedicated to fee-free, full service expungement services for cannabis offenders. GLEN also provides eligibility screenings and resources to help Michiganders reach their expungement goals. Marijuana expungement impacts nearly 250,000 people in Michigan.
GLEN President, Ryan Basore, says “We are especially thrilled to work directly with a brand that shares our passion for a second chance. Sugarbush understands the burden cannabis convictions create and through their partnership we are able to expunge more records than ever before”.
You can find them at Bloom the week of April 11.
