Join Bloom Bus Brigade to Support Dana Nessel April 15th!
Bloom City Club supports Dana Nessel for attorney general of Michigan. Dana Nessel has proven not only to be a friend to Michigan Medical Marijuana patients, she also stands for civil rights, the environment, workers rights, consumers, students and senior citizens.
So Bloom is organizing voters to bus them to the polls for the April 15th Michigan Democratic Convention at Cobo Hall in Detroit.
If you registered for the Democratic Party by March 15, you are eligible to vote. Don’t miss the party.
- Bus location: Miller/Maple Park-n- Ride
- Departure time: Be on the bus by 11. Departing at 11:30
- Leaving Cobo after voting is complete (around 4-5pm)
- Cost: Free
- Refreshments: Light
You can reserve your seat on the bus in advance with a $10 deposit that will be refunded when you show up. If you don’t show up, consider it a donation to Dana’s campaign.
The bus seats 50 but if we fill it we will get another one. Colleen Tracy, one of Bloom’s most outgoing managers, will be leading the show so expect what staff members are describing as a pumped-up event and a good time.
And if you want to leave early, the first vote is for attorney general so you can vote and leave. Voters are urged to arrive at Cobo by 12:30.
