Paula Givens, a cannabis industry attorney, came to the industry after a career prosecuting violations of federal labor law and now specializes in regulatory compliance. She holds a Juris Doctorate, with Honors, from Drake University Law School and is certified by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (CFE). Paula has experience in creating applications for medical marijuana licensure (Illinois and New York) and recreational licensure (Oregon). She will share her experience with licensing and help get us ready to participate in the new economy. We will also cover the sections of the new law that go into effect on December 21,2016.
