Jon Rothenberg, CPA
Topic: Cannabis Tax Issues and How to Understand your Financial Statements

Jon Rothenberg graduated from Wayne State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration.  After successfully completing the CPA exam on his first attempt, he became a certified public accountant. Jon is a member of the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants (MACPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).  Within the MACPA, Jon has served as a member of the Federal Taxation Committee and the Membership Committee. He is a past board member of the Southfield Chamber of Commerce. Jon works with small closely held businesses and their owners servicing their accounting and tax needs. Jon has worked with a wide range of clients at both local and national firms. Jon has been working with clients in the cannabis industry since 2014. Jon is also an investment advisor, began his securities career in 1998 and currently holds Series 6, 7, 24, 63 and 66 licenses.
