BURTON, MI – Bloom City Club, one of the OGs of Ann Arbor’s cannabis community, expands to Burton, MI.
Overcoming the business restrictions of the “Stay Home, Stay Safe” orders, the Burton dispensary, located at 4086 Davison Rd, opened for business on May 11, 2020. It will offer curbside pick-up for medical patients only and plans to offer recreational cannabis in the near future. Patients will be able to order online and receive assistance over the phone as needed. As a “Thank You” for choosing Bloom, all new medical patients will receive a free pre-roll with their first purchase. The Burton location will open its lobby and have a grand opening celebration once the current order is lifted.
“The location in Ann Arbor is known throughout Michigan for offering a personalized and educational cannabis experience, while actively supporting the community,” says Matt Vohwinkle, the manager of Bloom City Burton. “We are excited to bring that same atmosphere, guest experience, and community involvement to Burton and Flint.”
Bloom City Burton will offer a large selection of products, including edibles, tinctures, concentrates, and over 20 different strains of flower. “We will have an open shopping space for our guests to browse, with fully stocked product displays and local art. We are focused on educating people about cannabis, offering a large selection of quality products, and providing a personalized customer service experience,” continues Vohwinkle.
“In typical Bloom fashion, we looked on the bright side of all of this, and were able to utilize the delay in opening to train Burton staff at the Ann Arbor location,” says Angela Marshall, Human Resources Manager. “While we traversed the added complexities of opening during the COVID-19 restrictions, we had the pleasure of having Burton staff work side-by-side (at a social distance) with Ann Arbor staff. We even had the opportunity to test out their wireless technology to improve our curbside delivery in Ann Arbor.”
